WSK Final Cup, all set in Adria for the final stages

Qualifying heats have identified the main protagonists of the tenth edition of the WSK Final Cup that is underway in Adria. Tomorrow, Sunday, November 21st, Prefinals will be at 10:50, Finals at 14:20 with Live Streaming from www.wsk.it.

After qualifying heats on Friday and Saturday, the WSK Final Cup is ready to face the much awaited final stages on Sunday, November 21st, with the usual program that includes the double Prefinals to define the finalists of each category and then the finals to name the 2021 champions. The grand finale will be very interesting and available through the Live Streaming feed from wsk.it. This event counts 275 drivers at the start from 45 different nations and closes the WSK Promotion karting season.

A lot of drivers came to the fore in the qualifying stages of Adria resolute to leave their mark on the race as happened back in its first edition in 2011 when Charles Leclerc and George Russell contended the victory to Nicklas Nielsen in KF3.

The pole sitters for the Prefinals on Sunday morning.
The appointment of Adria has launched the main candidates to the win. At the end of the heats on Saturday, the pole positions of the two Prefinals to be held on Sunday morning have been claimed by the following drivers:
- Francesco Celenta (ITA) in KZ2 Prefinal-A, Stan Pex (NLD) in Prefinal-B;
- Nikola Tsolov (BGR) in OK Prefinal-A, Rafael Camara (BRA) in Prefinal-B;
- Anatoly Khavalkin (RUS) in OKJ Prefinal-A, David Walther (DNK) in Prefinal-B;
- Jindrich Pesl (CZE) in MINI Prefinal-A, Elliot Kaczynski (SWE) in Prefinal-B.

KZ2: a super Celenta in the heats.
The Italian driver Francesco Celenta (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) has been dominating the scene in KZ2. He was the quickest in qualifying practice and nobody could catch him in the heats as he claimed all three wins. The Dutch driver Stan Pex (SP Motorsport/KR-TM Racing) and the Italian Lorenzo Travisanutto (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) also displayed a good shape. The fight for the win should include mainly these three drivers, but the Italian Danilo Albanese (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) has also been getting some ground back.
KZ2 classification after the heats: 1. Celenta; 2. Pex; 3. Travisanutto; 4. Andreasson; 5. Stell; 6. Haanen; 7. Kajak; 8. Albanese.

OK: Tsolov puts his name forward to the win.
In OK the Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsolov (DPK Racing/KR-Iame-LeCont) confirmed his speed after posting the fastest time in qualifying. He won in fact all the three heats he has been competing in. The British driver Arvid Lindblad (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame), the Brazilian Rafael Camara (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) and his teammate from Jamaica Alex Powell also put in some solid pace, but the latter has been delayed by a DNF.
OK classification after the heats: 1. Tsolov; 2. Camara; 3. Ferreira; 4. Bergstrom; 5. Pasiewicz; 6. Bohra; 7. Trentin; 8. Lindblad.

OKJ: Khavalkin in the lead.
The Russian Anatoly Khavalkin (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) won five heats in OKJ. The pole sitter from Russia Kirill Dzitiev (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) also had a strong day, but had to retire from one heat. The Dane David Walther (Koski Motorsport/Tony Kart-Vortex) and the Brit Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn/Kosmic-Vortex) have also been shining so far.
OKJ classification after the heats: 1. Khavalkin; 2. Walther; 3. Stolcermanis; 4. Pavan; 5. Deligny; 6. Skulanov; 7. Al Dhaheri; 8. Slater.

MINI: Pesl in the fight for the win.
MINI confirmed that a lot of drivers can aim to the win. The best of qualifying, namely the Austrian Niklas Schaufler (Emme Racing Team/EKS-TM Racing-Vega) has been challenged by a lot of other drivers like the Czech Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), the Swede Elliot Kaczynski (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Racing), Romania’s David Costa-Cristofor (Gulstar Racing/KR-Iame), the Spanish driver Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing), the Italian Iacopo Martinese (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame), the Czech Zdenek Babicek (Tepz Racing Team/Parolin-TM Racing) and the Italian Filippo Sala (Team Driver/KR-Iame).
MINI classification after the heats: 1. Pesl; 2. Kaczynski; 3. Cosma-Cristofor D.; 4. Costoya; 5. Schaufler; 6. Palocko; 7. Babicek; 8. Fluxa.
