After qualifying practice, the first qualifying heats on Friday named the initial leaders of the big karting event by WSK Promotion.

Friday's qualifying sessions and opening heats have named the first category leaders of the WSK Final Cup at South Garda Karting in Lonato. This major karting event organized by WSK Promotion boasts an impressive turnout of 389 verified drivers, making it one of the most popular international karting competitions.

On Saturday, November 9th, the entire day will be dedicated to completing the heats, which will determine the finalists for Sunday, November 10th. The Prefinals and Finals will be broadcast live on TV and streamed live on the WSK Promotion Facebook page, the WSK website, Motorsport.com, and YouTube:

KZ2 - Kajak and Bertuca share the first heat victories.
The Estonian Markus Kajak (#121 Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM Kart-LeCont) and Italian Cristian Bertuca (#101 BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Kart) share the victories in the first two heats. Markus Kajak and his teammate, the German David Trefilov, who had taken pole position in qualifying, monopolized the first two positions in the A-B heat, with the Czech Marek Skrivan (#133 IPK Factory/IPK-TM Kart) in third. In the C-D heat, Cristian Bertuca dominated the race ahead of his new teammate, Samuele Leopardi, and Alessio Piccini (#127 Modena Kart/Parolin-TM Kart).

OK - Pavan and Van Langendonck win their first heat.
The pole sitter Sebastiano Pavan (#237 Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart-LeCont) won the A-B heat, but the Italian driver had to fend off the performance of the Austrian Niklas Schaufler (#244 DPK Racing/KR-Iame) only on the last lap. Third place went to the Swede Scott Lindblom (#221 Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame). In the C-D heat, the Belgian Dries Van Langendonck (#228 Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart) took the win over the Italian Iacopo Martinese (#224 KR Motorsport/KR-Iame).

OKJ – Two wins to Sala, one to Ruykov and Hoogendoorn.
Filippo Sala (#334 Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart-Vega), who set the fastest time in qualifying for OK Junior Session-1, was in the spotlight, winning both the C-E and C-D heats. In his first heat, the Italian driver took victory ahead of his teammate, the American Devin Walz, and in his second heat ahead of his other teammate, the Turkish driver Iskender Zulfikari. In the B-D heat, the Bulgarian Lyuboslav Ruykov (#344 DPK Racing/KR-Iame) remained in the lead over the Englishman Henry Domain (#335 Forza Racing/Exprit-TM Kart), while the poleman from Australia William Calleja (#321 Ricky Flynn Motorsport/LN Kart-TM Kart), was forced to retire. In the A-E heat, the Dutchman Dean Hoogendoorn (#308 KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) prevailed over the Peruvian Mariano Lopez (#311 Fusion Motorsport/KR-Iame) who had set the fastest time in qualifying for Session-2.

MINI GR.3 U10 - Perico and Di Pietrantonio lead the pack.
Niccolò Perico (#501 Energy Corse/Energy-TM Kart-Vega) immediately bounced back after qualifying and the Italian driver took victory in the first A-B heat ahead of his teammate, the Estonian Mark Loomets. In the other two heats, the Italian Lorenzo Di Pietrantonio (#512 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) dominated the scene, having set the second-fastest time in qualifying for Session-1. In the C-D heat, the Italian preceded the Englishman Austin Newstead (#565 Kidix/KR-Iame), while Mark Loomets again who finished second in the second heat.

MINI GR.3 - Rea, Nellegard and Noviello take the first three heats.
Achille Rea (#538 CRG Racing Team/TGroup-TM Kart-Vega) jumped to the lead in the first A-B heat and took victory ahead of the Portuguese poleman Xavier Lazaro (#556 DR/DR-TM Kart). In the second C-D heat, the Swede Carl Nellegard (#532 Ward Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart) prevailed over the Spaniard Daniel Miron Lorente (#504 Team Driver/KR-Iame), while in the third heat the two Italians Giuseppe Noviello (#540 Gamoto/EKS-TM Kart) and Julian Frasnelli (#521 BabyRace/Parolin-Iame) locked out the top two.

OKNJ - Orlando and Le Marchand surprise everyone.
There were some surprises in the OK-N Junior category, with the Italian Michele Orlando (#703 DR/DR-Modena Engines-Vega) winning the A-B heat from behind after a great recovery, ahead of Bruno Blanco (#731 LA Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart), with the Belgian poleman Henri Kumpen (#717 Jana Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) in third position. In the C-D heat, the Frenchman Mael Le Marchand (#714 Jana Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) surprisingly took the win over the Pole Tomasz Cichoracki (#732 Bambini Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart) and Englishman Henry Carter (#705 Gold Kart/Righetti Ridolfi/TM Kart).

OKN - Tonalini dominates the first heat.
The Italian Cristian Tonalini (#836 Tona Racing/Tony Kart-TM Kart-Vega), who had already taken pole position in qualifying, kept his momentum and won the first heat ahead of fellow Italians Antonio Apicella (#823 GSR Team/LN-Iame) and Nicolas Marchesi (#816 Team Driver/KR-Iame). The fourth place went to the Pole Juliusz Ociepa (#810 Novalux/Lenzokart-LKE), followed by fellow Pole Bartosz Grzywacz (#807 LA Motorsport/Parolin-TM Kart).
