WSK MASTER SERIES IN CASTELLETTO (ITALY): HANLEY (ARTGP-TM KZ2) WINS THE FINAL 1. AFTER THE HEATS THE POLE POSITIONS ACHIEVED BY ILOTT (ZANARDI-TM) IN KF, NORRIS (FA KART-VORTEX) AND LORANDI (TONY-PARILLA) IN KFJ, LÉGERET (TONY-LKE) IN 60 MINI.

ALL SET FOR THE GREAT FINALE IN CASTELLETTO.
Qualifying heats are over in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy) and all is ready for the Prefinals. This is the last but one step of a programme which, tomorrow afternoon, will finally award the victories in the four categories: KZ2, KF, KF Junior and 60 Mini. While the top drivers are getting ready for the last sprint, the newcomers are making their first international experiences in the categories, with the ambition of becoming fully-fledged professionals of Motorsport. So, while for the top positions drivers and teams are preparing their strategies, the rest of the pack are completing their apprenticeship to be, in the future, the drivers to beat. This is the case, for example, of Giuliano Alesi, 13-year-old son of Jean Alesi, former Ferrari and Benetton driver in F1. The young Giuliano, followed in Castelletto by his caring father, is learning fast in the WSK events together with the other guys who are chasing the same dream. Stirred by this sportsmanlike spirit, the WSK Master Series closes the season recording impressive figures: 650 scrutineered drivers coming from 38 countries in the four rounds of 2013.

HANLEY AIMS TO WIN THE KZ2 FINAL.
In the shifter category, the Art GP Team seems to have found the right pace this weekend. Their two drivers, the English Ben Hanley and Charles Leclerc from Monaco (both on Art GP-TM-Bridgestone), achieved first and second place respectively both in the heats and in Final 1, which took place in the evening. A bad start allowed the Dutch Max Verstappen (CRG-TM-Bridgestone) to take the lead, but he was quickly reached and passed by the two Art GP drivers. Verstappen, the current leader of the standings, aims to win the Series. This result is definitely within his reach, given that the Italian Riccardo Negro (DR-TM-Bridgestone), his closest pursuer, finished only fifth in Final 1, behind another Italian driver, Alessandro Manetti (Praga-Parilla-Bridgestone).

ILOTT ATTACKS AND GETS THE POLE IN KF.
The end of season of the English Callum Ilott (Zanardi-TM-Vega) seems to be absolutely positive. Today he won all the three heats he took part in. Boccolacci, the current standings leader, finished second twice and placed third once behind the English Ben Barnicoat (Art GP-TM-Vega). So, Ilott clinched a well deserved pole position, knowing that in the Prefinal he will have Boccolacci by his side. Barnicot and the Croatian Martin Kodric (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) will start from the second row.

NORRIS AND L. LORANDI IN KFJ.
The English Lando Norris (FA-Vortex-Vega) and the Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Parilla-Vega), after winning all their heats, finally challenged each other and the race was won by Norris. Tomorrow they will start from the pole positions of their Prefinals. On the side of the English driver the Finnish Niko Kari (FA-Vortex-Vega), who won once. In the following Prefinal, on the other hand, the American Logan Sargeant (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) will fill the first row on the grid beside the poleman Lorandi. The remaining heats were won by the Russian Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart-BMB-Vega) and the British Daniel Ticktum (FA-Vortex-Vega).

LÉGERET CLINCHES THE POLE IN THE 60 MINI.
The 60 Mini was, once again, unpredicatble and saw another emerging driver taking the lead in the heats: it was the Swiss Lucas Légeret (Tony Kart-LKE-Le Cont). He won twice and clinched the pole in tomorrow's Prefinal. Next to him the the Italian Leonardo Marseglia (Top Kart-Parilla-Le Cont), who won once. Two other Italian drivers, Giuseppe Fusco (Lenzo-LKE-Le Cont) and Domenico Cicognini (EKS-LKE-Le Cont) - they won a heat each - will start from the second row. Behind them, the Spanish Eliseo Martinez (Hero-LKE-Le Cont), the current leader of the standings, while the Indian Kush Maini, his most dangerous rival, will start 15th.

THE WEEKEND AT THE 7 LAGHI CIRCUIT ON RAISPORT 2 ON FRIDAY 19TH.
