GREAT CHALLENGES IN THE WSK STANDINGS.
After a brilliant season opener in Castelletto di Branduzzo last Sunday, kart racing fans are waiting for the 2nd round, on schedule next 20th March in Sarno. The challenge for the success in the Series is already intense, as the images of the Finals in Castelletto, available on wsk.it, clearly show.
KZ – ABBASSE IS THE LEADER.
Thanks to his victory in the Final, the French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM-Vega) leads the KZ with 70 points. Behind him, both with 50 p., the Italian Paolo De Conto (CRG-Maxter), winner of the Prefinal A, and the Dutch Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM), the runner-up both in the Final and in the Prefinal B.
KZ2 – PEX WITH A FULL 80 POINTS.
He won in the Final and in the Prefinal A: the Dutch Stan Pex (CRG-Vortex-Vega) is the leader in KZ2 with a full 80 points. Second position for Giacomo Pollini (CRG-TM) and Alex Irlando (Energy-TM), with 50 points each.
OK - HILTBRAND AT THE TOP.
The Spanish Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Parilla-Vega), winner of the Prefinal and runner-up in the Final, leads in OK with 60 points. The Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex), winner of the Final, trails by only 4 points. In third position is the French Jean Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart-Vortex).
OKJ - TAOUFIK AHEAD.
The Moroccan Sami Taoufik (FA-Vortex-Vega) dominated the Prefinal B and the Final, grabbing the leadership of the category ahead of three drivers with 40 points: the French Timothy Peisselon (FA-Vortex), the Spanish David Vidales (Energy-TM) and the Swedish Isaac Blomqvist (Tony-Vortex), always in the first three positions of the races in Catelletto.
60MINI - PIZZI FIRST.
The victory in the 60Mini brought the Italian Francesco Pizzi (Energy-Iame-Vega) to the top with 70 points, ahead of Leonardo Caglioni (EvoKart-TM) and the Czech Roman Stanek (Energy-Iame).
