TOMORROW THE FINALS LIVE IN STREAMING ON WSK.IT.
LIGHTS ON THE FINAL SPRINT OF THE WSK IN SARNO.
Heated weekend in Sarno (Salerno, Italy), where the last round of the WSK Super Master Series is taking place at the International Circuit Napoli. Drivers are showing their skills race after race, and even those who are not directly involved in the battle for the final victory are doing their best: that’s why the output of the Finals is still very uncertain. Tomorrow the official website wsk.it the live streaming of the final day.
PUHAKKA PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN THE KZ2 BATTLE.
Thanks to his two victories, after the best performance achieved in qualifying yesterday, the Finnish Simo Puakka (Kosmic-Vortex-Bridgestone) is the driver to beat in Sarno. He won the qualifying heats stage ahead of the French Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-TM), winner in one race. They will be the pole-sitters in tomorrow’s Prefinals; next to them the Dutch Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM), the current leader of the category, and the Czech Patrik Hajek (Kosmic-Vortex). Shame for the Italian Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex), who finished in the back positions because of a retirement in the first heat and despite a victory in his other two races.
BASZ IS STILL THE FRONTRUNNER IN OK.
He was the fastest in qualifying yesterday and today he was the best in the heats: the Polish Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Bridgestone) finished unbeaten the qualifying stage and grabbed the pole position of the Prefinal A. Behind him, in close pursuit, the Spanish Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-Vortex), who won three heats and will start from the pole position of the Prefinal B. Next to them the English Tom Joyner (Zanardi-Parilla) and the current leader of the standings, Clement Novalak (TonyKart-Vortex).
ROSSO IS THE DRIVER TO BEAT IN OK JUNIOR.
Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) was the best driver in the heats and grabbed the pole position of the Prefinal A. However, the Italian will have to keep at bay lots of rivals, beginning with the British Jonny Edgar (Exprit-TM), who placed second in the heats and will be filling the first slot on the grid of tomorrow’s Prefinal B. Next to the two pole-sitters, the English Harry Thompson (FA Kart-Vortex) and the Italian Luca Bosco (Tony Kart-Vortex), who put in an excellent performance in qualifying. Bad luck for drivers such as the English Christopher Lulham (Tony Kart-Parilla), who won three heats but was also obliged to retire and closed the day in 8th position.
MINÌ KEEPS THE LEADERSHIP FOR A HAIR’S BREADTH IN 60 MINI.
The Italian Gabriele Minì (Parolin-TM-Vega), too, remained unbeaten in the heats and finished ahead of his fellow countryman Andrea Antonelli (Tony Kart-Vortex), who won three races. The two drivers will be the pole-sitters of the Pre-finals A and B tomorrow morning: next to them in first row, the American Nikhil Bohra (CRG-TM) and the current leader of the category, the Russian Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart-TM).
