The WSK Euro karting Series goes on  with the  year and is heading forMuro Leccese, Italy (LE) for the third of the four rounds in 2012. The coming week, from 21 to 24 June, WSK Promotion’s European Series is stopping  at La Conca International Circuit where the chase for the victory in the 5 classes (KZ1, KZ2, KF2, KF3 and 60 Mini) will not be the only subject of interest. Indeed, the Apulian circuit will display a technical innovation for safety: for the first time in a karting event, it will be used a lighting system thatgives information to the drivers through  special light posts.

THE SYSTEM  TRACKSA STRAIGHT FROM F.1.
The lighting system  designed for the motorsport tracks is called Tracksa. It is a system whose purpose  is toimprove  markedly  the safety standards by shortening drivers’  information  and reaction time. The devices consist in safety light posts that, by a flashing led system, reproduce  the flag colours generally used in the racetracks. Operating in advance of marshals, these light posts give the drivers a better if not decisive information. WSK Promotion therefore has chosen to use this technology in the karting events by fixing its debut at La Conca.
OVER  230 DRIVERS LIVE ON  TV AT  LA  CONCA.The drivers entered at the third round of the WSK Euro Series are over 230 from 40 countries worldwide. In MuroLeccese, the early final sprint will be covered live on Rai Sport that will broadcast Sunday afternoon’s Finals at La Conca International Circuit. For KZ1, KZ2, KF2 and KF3, the ultimate round will be in Spain, at the circuit in Zuera, which will be the location for the 4. and closing round, on August 5. At La Conca instead, 60 Mini, which is the class for young  drivers  from 10 up, will compete for the crowning win in the special ranking of the WSK Betitaly Series at its second and final round.
DREEZEN AND NEGRO RACE AWAY TO WIN KZ1 AND KZ2.At the top of KZ1 ranking, there is Belgian Rick Dreezen  (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) that reaches La Conca above his  teammate Marco Ardigò from Brescia, Italy. KZ2 leader plays at home: it is Riccardo Negro from Corsano in province of Lecce, Italy (DR-TM) and is above Sienese Mirko Torsellini (Tony KartVortex-Dunlop).
LECLERC AND  PALOU QUICK AS A FLASH IN  KF2. MARTINEZ AT THE TOP IN  60 MINI.At La Conca the driver to beat in KF2, is Monegasque Charles Leclerc (ART  GP-Parilla-Vega) that leads the ranking above Neapolitan Felice Tiene (CRG-BMB-Vega).  In KF3,Spanish Alex Palou (CRG-BMB-Vega)  calls the shots, above Alessio Lorandi from Brescia, Italy (Tony KartVortex-Vega).
