The victory of the finals of the second round in Lonato went to Stan Pex in KZ2, Tuukka Taponen in OK, Lucas Fluxa Cross in OKJ and Jindrich Pesl in MINI.

The grand finale of the second round of the WSK Super Master Series did not betray the expectations at the South Garda Karting circuit that staged several hard-fought and highly spectacular battles in all four categories: from the most powerful KZ2 to the smallest MINI and the two direct drives OK and OKJ. It has been a long weekend, with a record of 351 drivers on track from 55 Nations covering Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania. Several young talents made it to the track.

The great protagonists of the series confirmed their speed claiming good wins: Stan Pex (SP Motorsport/KR-TM Racing-Vega) in KZ2, Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) in OK, Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) in OKJ and Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) in MINI.

The winners of the Prefinals.
OK. Prefinal-A of OK was won by the Brit Joseph Turney (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont), while his teammate from Italy Lugi Coluccio, who had led the pack in the first part of the weekend slipped down to P9 due to a penalty. Prefinal-B went to the Finn Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex).
MINI. The Czech Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) confirmed his speed winning Prefinal-A of MINI and the Spaniard Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) did the same in Prefinal-B.
KZ2. In KZ2 the French Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodi-TM Racing-Vega) recovered well up to the victory of Prefinal-A, while the German David Trefilov (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM Racing) claimed the win in Prefinal-B.
OKJ. The Belgian Douwe Dedecker (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) had the upper hand on Ukraine’s Oleksandr Bondarev (Ricky Flynn/LN-Vortex) in Prefinal-A of OKJ. The Russian Kirill Dzitiev (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) ended a very lively Prefinal-B on top instead.

In KZ2 the Dutch Stan Pex (SP Motorsport/KR-TM Racing-Vega) managed to win a hard-fought race after the German David Trefilov (Maranello SRP/Maranello-TM) led the operations in the initial stages. The French Emilien Denner (Sodikart/Sodi-TM Racing) also was in the mix for the victory, but he had to settle for P2 leading the Italian Matteo Viganò (Leclerc by Lennox/BirelART/TM Racing), who recovered very well in the closing stages securing a podium finish. Trefilov ended fourth, while the fifth position went to the Spanish driver Pedro Hiltbrand (BirelART Racing/BirelART-TM Racing). The classification is currently led by Trefilov at 128 points. Van Walstijn follows him at 125.
KZ2 Final Classification:
1. Stan Pex (NLD)
2. Emilien Denner (FRA)
3. Matteo Viganò (ITA)

Taponen wins the OK Final and takes the classification lead.
Tuukka Taponen (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) won the final after taking an early lead. A nice battle was fought behind the Finn for the other steps of the podium. The Jamaican Alex Powell (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame) recovered several places and managed to find his way past Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart Racing Team/Tony Kart-Vortex) in the closing stages. The Italian driver won the previous round but this time around he had to settle for P3. The top 5 was rounded off by the Russian Artem Severiukhin (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex) and the Brit Freddie Slater (Ricky Flynn/LN-Vortex), that ended respectively with a good fourth and fifth place. Taponen installed himself on top of the provisional classification with 156 points. Coluccio is currently second at 136.
OK Final Classification:
1. Tuukka Taponen (FIN)
2. Alex Powell (JAM)
3. Luigi Coluccio (ITA)

Fluxa Cross wins OK-Junior, while Bondarev is the new classification leader.
The Final of the OKJ got exciting especially in the closing laps, when the Spaniard Lucas Fluxa Cross (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame-Vega) completed his recovery race taking the lead from Ukraine’s Oleksandr Bondarev (Ricky Flynn/LN-Vortex). The latter had to settle for the final P2. The third place went to Bondarev’s teammate from Poland Maciej Gladysz, who also recovered a lot of ground. The fifth place went to the South-African driver Luviwe Sambudla (KR Motorsport/KR-Iame), who led Marcus Saeter (Ward Racing/Tony Kart-Vortex). Bondarev is currently leading the classification with 124 points, Fluxa Cross is second at 105.
OK-J Final Classification:
1. Lucas Fluxa Cross (ESP)
2. Oleksandr Bondarev (UKR)
3. Maciej Gladysz (POL)

Pesl dominates MINI and takes the lead of the classification.
The Czech Jindrich Pesl (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame-Vega) dominated also the Final of MINI taking a good win after leading the race from lights to flag. He was chased by several rivals though. The second place went to Filippo Sala (Team Driver/KR-Iame), who has been among the main protagonists of the weekend. The Italian driver managed to take P2 off the Belgian Dries Van Langendonck (Parolin Motorsport/Parolin-TM Racing) and his teammate from Spain Christian Costoya. The latter did not manage to finish on the podium despite holding P2 at moments. The fifth place went to the Dutch Billy Van Staveren (BabyRace/Parolin-Iame). Pesl is now leading the standings at 181 points and is followed by Van Langendonck and Costoya that are equal on points at 125.

1. Jindric Pesl (CZE)
2. Filippo Sala (ITA)
3. Dries Van Langendonck (BEL)
