ON RAI SPORT 2 THE DELAYED BROADCAST ON 17TH APRIL AT 06:00PM AND THE SPECIAL TV REPORT ON 18TH

FROM CASTELLETTO TO LA CONCA THE PREVIEW OF THE FINAL WSK SPRINT IS ON RAI SPORT 2.

The races at the International Circuit 7 Laghi of Castelletto greatly affected the current standings of the WSK Super Master Series. After the second round hosted by the facility of Casteletto di Branduzzo (Pavia, Italy), the Series is running towards its closing event, on the International Circuit La Conca of Muro Leccese (Lecce), due in two weeks in south Italy. The final standings of the WSK Series will be decided then, with the four winners of the four categories. Many are the drivers who still stand a good chance to win the Series, especially because there are still a lot of points to be awarded. While waiting for the crucial season finale, fans will be able to enjoy the wide media offer to relive the races and the most important moments of the round which has just finished. It will be sufficient to tune in to Rai Sport 2 on Thursday 17th April at 06.00 pm to see the delayed broadcast of the event. For a more in-depth analysis, the usual appointment is with the WSK TV Magazine on Friday 18th April, at 11.55pm, always on Rai Sport 2. Now, to have a better idea on who can aim at winning the title of the WSK Series, let's have a look at the current standings of the four categories after last Sunday's race at the 7 Laghi Circuit, which followed the season opener of Sarno (Salerno).

ARDIGO' OVERTAKES LAMMERS IN KZ2.
He missed victory in Sarno, but he got his payback in Castelletto. So, the Italian Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) leaves the 7 Laghi Cicuit as the leader of the KZ2 category. He and Bas Lammers (FK-Parilla-Bridgestone) have now the same number of victories, but the Italian took over the leadership thanks to his 160 points. Only ten points separate the two drivers: the battle for the victory of the series is going to be heated, also because the two leaders will have to deal with Arnaud Kozlinski (Intrepid-TM-Bridgestone), third of the standing and in great shape as shown in Castelletto, where he put in an excellent performance. Also the Italian Paolo De Conto (Birel-TM-Bridgestone) can still aim at victory: his performance in Castelletto was outstanding and, thanks to the third place achieved in the Final, he is now the fourth of the standing. Same score for the two drivers who follow: the two Belgian Rick Dreezen (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridfgestone) and Jonathan Thonon (Praga-Parilla-Bridgestone). Behind them, the English Ben Hanley (Art GP-TM): three top drivers who can still aim at climbing up the standing at La Conca.

BASZ AND DARUVALA HEAD TO HEAD IN KF.
In KF the Polish Karol Basz (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) and the Indian Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) have a victory each after their successes in Sarno and Castelletto respectively. Basz is the current leader thanks to the podium position scored last Sunday: he is at the top with 120 points while Daruvala, who did not score good results in the first round, follows with 108. After the Indian driver's big day, whose performance is improving race after race, also the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic-Vortex-Dunlop) and the English Tom Joyner (Zanardi-Parilla-Dunlop), third and fourth of the standing, are looking for their chance. The French Gabriel Aubry (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) rocketed himself to the top position after the second place achieved in Castelletto: he now occupies the fifth position. A bit behind we find the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-TM-Dunlop) and the English Callum Ilott (Zanardi-Parilla-Dunlop), sixth and seventh respectively. They were not lucky in the previous two rounds and their results in the standing are not continuous.

BAIZ PASSES TICKTUM IN KFJ.
KFJ, after the first two rounds of the event, has been the most uncertain category of the series, with many different protagonists separated by very narrow gaps. So, the Venezuelan Mauricio Baiz (Exprit-Vortex-Vega), who dominated in Castelletto, is the leader with 103 points, only 4 points ahead of the English Daniel Ticktum (Zanardi-Parilla-Vega), the winner in Muro Leccese. The Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-TM-Vega), who scored podium positions in both the events, is third and follow closely. The gaps widen for the remaining positions. The fourth position of the German Mick Junior (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who's achieving better and better results this year, is outstanding; behind him the American Logan Sargeant (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega). The English Enaam Ahmed (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) is trying to recover but he is currently seventh.

MIZEVYCH LEADS THE 60 MINI FOLLOWED BY ABRUSCI.
From Sarno to Castelletto the number of skilful drivers in the 60 Mini is quite large. The 2014 season seems to be a very good one for this category: all the young drivers taking part in the series are performing really well. Getting to the top of the category requires great strength and determination. All the drivers who had a good start in one of the first two rounds learnt the lesson the hard way. Muizz Abdul Gafar (Hero-LKE-Vega), for example: he won the round at the 7 Laghi Circuit, but he is only third in the current standing because he did not manage to enter the Final in Sarno after his early stop in the Prefinal. The leader is Makar Mizevych (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega) with 112 points. Second place for Nicola Abrusci (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega) with 99. Both the drivers kept a consistent pace that allowed them to occupy the first two places of the standing. Regularity, so far, has been the key factor: even the winner of Sarno, Maciej Szyszko (Kosmic-LKE-Vega), is only fourth given that he did not score points in Castelletto during a weekend which was bad for him since the heats. Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart-LKE-Vega) is climbing the standing after his good performance in Castelletto and he is now fifth, just ahead of Dennis Hauger (Hero-LKE-Vega) and Christian Cobellini (Top Kart-Parilla-Vega). The latter did very well at the 7 Laghi Circuit.
