The participation is quite big in the third round of the WSK Super Master Series that is underway at the South Garda Karting circuit. Qualifying practice and the initial heats have been run ahead of the finals on Sunday, February 23rd.

Lonato (ITA), 21.02.2025
At the start of the third round of the WSK Super Master Series at the South Garda Karting in Lonato, a new milestone celebrates this 20th year of WSK Promotion, which since 2006 continues to offer a series of major international karting events and many young champions towards the heights of motorsport.

In Lonato, in fact, a new historical record of participants in a WSK race has arrived: a solid figure of 401 verified drivers out of the 419 registered coming from all over the world, ready to challenge each other on the track in this third appointment of the season after the first two rounds held on the tracks of La Conca (Lecce) and Sarno (Salerno). For WSK Promotion it is therefore another nice recognition for the success achieved in all these years, at the culmination of a formidable progression of 173 WSK karting events organized to date.

A demanding weekend.
The third round of the WSK Super Master Series has begun in Lonato, in a rather demanding weekend at the organizational level for the MINI, OKNJ, OKJ, OK and KZ2 categories, with 14 series of qualifying heats, 44 qualifying heats, a final phase consisting of 12 prefinals to reach the 6 finals on Sunday afternoon. Present all the manufacturers worldwide, the most important teams and the most representative drivers, from young promises to already established champions.

Raikkonen and Berger present with their sons in the race.
Among the curiosities of the event, there are also two former Formula 1 champions, Kimi Raikkonen who follows his young son Robin engaged in the MINI Gr.3 Under 10 with the Kidix team, and Gerhard Berger who in the same category follows his son Johan at his debut with the BabyRace team.
