Finals will start on Sunday, February 23rd at 14:30 with the Live Steaming coverage. Giacomo Pollini on top in KZ2, Andrea Kimi Antonelli in OK. The provisional classification of OK-Junior is led by Brando Badoer, that of Mini by the Russian Dmitry Matveev.

All is set at South Garda Karting for the big spectacle that is getting underway on Sunday for the much awaited second round of WSK Super Master Series after the qualifying heats that took place on Saturday, February 22nd. Due to the high number of drivers, 362, the fight has been fierce to define the finalists in Lonato but all the main protagonists of the event came to the fore confirming the values shown early into the weekend.

Classifications after the heats that lead into the final stages have been defined for the two categories KZ2 and OK, but the Junior and Mini still have a few heats left to run on Sunday morning from local 10:00 to 11:45. The program features two Prefinals for each category starting from 11:50. Finals will be opened by KZ2 with the Live streaming coverage at 14:30. OK’s final will follow at 15:00, OK-Junior’s at 15:30 and Mini’s at 16:00.

The home hero Giacomo Pollini (Formula K-TM Racing-Vega/NGM Motorsport) is leading the KZ2 pack after the heats as the classification has been turned upside-down by a multiple contact that affected Riccardo Longhi (BirelArt-TM Racing/BirelArt Racing), who lost several positions from the lead. Pollini secured therefore three wins, Longhi two as the poleman Alex Irlando (BirelArt-TM Racing/BirelArt Racing). Fabian Federer (Maranello-TM Racing/SRP Racing Team) was also among the quickest as the French Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-TM Racing/Formula K Racing Team) and Giuseppe Palomba (BirelArt-TM Racing/BirelArt Racing).

A lot of drivers can aim to the win in OK. Championship leader from Spain Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone/Tony Kart Racing Team) recovered a lot of ground in the heats, but the young Andrea Kimi Antonelli (KR-Iame/KR Motorsport) has been shining as the British driver Taylor Barnard (KR-Iame/Rosberg Racing Academy) since both won three heats. The other British driver and Hiltbrand’s teammate Joe Turney came also to the fore as poleman Enzo Trulli (KR-Iame/KR Motorsport), who secured one win.
OK classification after the heats: 1. Antonelli; 2. Barnard; 3. Hiltbrand; 4. Turney; 5. Trulli; 6. Vant Hoff; 7. Bedrin; 8. Camara; 9. Travisanutto; 10. Ten Brinke.

Brando Badoer (KR-Iame-Vega/KR Motorsport) is leading the OK-Junior classification after being the quickest in qualifying and winning all the four heats he took part in. The Brit Arvid Lindblad has been his main rival so far and won three heats, while their other teammate and current championship leader after the victory in Adria Alfio Andrea Spina is a little bit behind. The closing heats will define the finalists on Sunday morning.
OKJ, provisional classification after heats: 1. Badoer; 2. Lindblad; 3. Kucharczyk; 4. Cepil; 5. Stenshorne; 6. Spina; 7. Dedecher; 8. Ferreira; 9. Pasiewiecz; 10. Severiukhin.

The Russian Dmitry Matveev is the provisional leader of Mini.
The Russian Dmitry Matveev (Energy-TM Racing/Energy Corse) replied to the pole position of Mark Kastelic (KR-TM Racing-Vega/Team Driver Racing Kart) taking three wins. His teammate German Fotveev secured two wins, while classification leader Gerasim Skulanov (IPK-TM Racing/Formula K) also secured three wins as the Pole Jan Przyrowsky (Parolin-TM Racing/AV Racing) and United Arab Emirates’ Rashid Al Dhaheri (Parolin-TM Racing/Parolin Racing Kart). The final heats will shape up the starting grid of the finals on Sunday morning.
MINI, provisional classification after heats: 1. Matveev; 2. Skulanov; 3. Fotveev; 4. Kastelic; 5. Helias; 6. Al Dhaheri; 7. Egozi; 8. Tarnvanichkul; 9. Dzitiev; 10. Cui.
